The Old Town of Warsaw is a real treasure trove of cultural heritage. There are many interesting museums here that offer unique insights into the history, art and culture of the area. 

*Center for the Interpretation of Monuments, branch of the Museum of Warsaw (Centrum Interpretacji Zabytku, oddział Muzeum Warszawy), st. Brzozowa 11/13, Warszawa. The museum introduces the history of the Old Town, its destruction during World War II and post-war reconstruction, as well as the circumstances under which the historic center of Warsaw was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The museum is located in a restored old basement.

*Museum of the Military Ordinariate of the Polish Army (Muzeum Ordynariatu Polowego Wojska Polskiego), st. Długa 13/15, Warszawa. The Museum of the Military Ordinariate presents the history of chaplains and other priests, not only Christians, who collaborated with the military.

*Museum of the Archdiocese of Warsaw (Muzeum Archidiecezji Warszawskiej), st. Dziekania 1, Warszawa. The Museum of the Archdiocese of Warsaw is an ecclesiastical museum displaying collections of sacred, ancient and contemporary Polish art. Among the 20,000 exhibits: paintings, drawings, engravings, jewelry and sculptures, antique elements of church decor, vestments and liturgical vessels, medals, gorgets, furniture, grandfather clocks, etc.

*Museum of Dollhouses, Games and Toys, Department of Temporary Exhibitions (Muzeum Domków Lalek, Gier i Zabawek, Oddział Wystaw Czasowych), st. Krzywe Koło 2/4, Warszawa, Kamenica Rogozinska. Various exhibitions will be held here on topics related to old toys, dolls and games, as well as the work of contemporary artists and craftsmen.

*Museum of Pharmacy. Antonina Leśniewskiej (Muzeum Farmacji im. mgr Antoniny Leśniewskiej), st. Piwna 31/33, Warszawa. Museum of the history of pharmacy. The museum has a reconstructed interior of a pharmacy from the interwar period, an extraordinary collection of furniture and glass pharmacy glassware of various colors and shapes. Here you will learn about the history of medicines, poisons and drugs.

*Literary Museum. A. Mickiewicz (Muzeum Literatury im. A. Mickiewicza), Rynek Starego Miasta 20, Warszawa

*Museum of the World of Illusions (Muzeum Świat Iluzji), st. Rynek Starego Miasta, 21, Warszawa. Museum World of Illusions is an interactive, educational and entertaining space for everyone.

*Museum of Warsaw (Muzeum Warszawy), Rynek Starego Miasta 28–42, 00–272 Warszawa. The museum is located in the historical buildings of the Old Town Market Square. It offers an extensive collection of artifacts, documents and paintings that tell the history of the city from its ancient times to the present day.

*Museum of the Warsaw Archdiocese (Muzeum Archidiecezji Warszawskiej), st. Świętojanska 8, Warszawa. Was founded in 1938. Originally located in the Old Town in buildings located next to the Cathedral of St. John on Kanonia Street. The museum had a gallery of gothic sculpture, a gallery of antique sacred fabrics, and several pieces of jewelry. The most valuable items after the Warsaw Uprising were taken away by the Germans, and the building was completely burned down. The opening of the new Museum of the Archdiocese of Warsaw took place in April 1980. It was located at the Church of the Holy Trinity in Solec. Since November 2015, the collections have been transferred to the Deccan Palace in the Old Town, adapted for museum purposes, next to the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. Today, the collection contains about 20,000 items: paintings, drawings, engravings, jewelry and sculptures, antique elements of church decor, vestments and liturgical vessels, medals, gorgets, furniture, grandfather clocks, etc.

*Museum of the Guild of Leather Trades. J. Kilinsky (Muzeum Cechu Rzemiosł Skórzanych im. J. Kilińskiego), st. Wąski Dunaj 10, Warszawa. Museum on a voluntary basis, consists of only two rooms. Dedicated to the historical craft of shoemakers and saddlers and their guild, as well as to the Polish hero of freedom, Colonel Jan Kilinskiem, who was a shoemaker by profession and lived in a neighboring house. The exhibition presents original exhibits, ancient instruments, objects of Jan Kilinski.
