Price index for construction and installation production in September 2023

For those interested in purchasing real estate in Poland, we suggest that you familiarize yourself with statistical data on prices for construction and installation production in September 2023.

In September 2023, prices for construction and installation production increased by 8.9% compared to the same month of the previous year, and by 0.7% compared to August 2023 (Table 1).

In September 2023, compared to August 2023, an increase in prices for the construction of civil engineering projects was recorded by 0.7%, and for special construction work and the construction of buildings by 0.6%.

Compared to September 2022, prices for the construction of civil engineering projects (by 10.0%), specialized construction works (by 8.5%) and building construction (by 8.1%) were increased.

Let's monitor changes in prices for construction and installation products in Poland in 2022-2023. compared to the previous period (graph 1). Thus, in September 2023, prices increased by 0.7% compared to the previous month.

In graph 3, you can consider the change in prices of construction and installation products in Poland by PKD sections (building construction, civil engineering, specialized construction work) in 2022-2023. compared to December 2021. During this time, prices for the construction of civil engineering projects increased the most.
