Weather in Warsaw
Let's look at weather data in Warsaw over the past 50 years. Weather data recorded by the Warszawa-Okęcie weather station.
Let's look at weather data in Warsaw over the past 50 years. Weather data recorded by the Warszawa-Okęcie weather station.
Over these years (Table 1), the average temperature increased from 8.1 oC during the observation period 1971-2000. up to 10.2 oC in 2016-2020. In 2021, the average annual temperature in Warsaw was only 8.9 oC.
Serious conclusions about the state of the weather during this time cannot be drawn due to the different periods of the data presented. However, we can say for sure that the air temperature in Warsaw has increased.
As you can see, the hottest weather in the last 50 years in Warsaw was 37.0 degrees, and the coldest was minus 30.7 degrees. As a result, the temperature amplitude was 67.7 oC.

The average annual precipitation over 50 years of observations was, in principle, at the same level: 519-554 mm (Table 2). Only 2021 was not only cool, but also rainy. The average wind speed was not that high - 3.3 m/s, but the cloudiness was above average.
