Kitchen room (pomieszczenie kuchenne) is a place for preparing food, regardless of whether it is also used for eating, sleeping or living.

Includes:
1) kitchen premises, that is, premises that meet the criteria included in the definition of a room: direct daylight and a floor area of at least 4 square meters,
2) kitchen premises that are not rooms, i.e. rooms without windows (so-called dark kitchens) or rooms that do not meet the criteria, i.e. with a room area of less than 4 square meters,
3) kitchens, which are part of a multifunctional room created by combining the kitchen with the living room.
