A housing condominium (housing association, housing cooperative, housing community) - wspólnota mieszkaniowa is an apartment building (or several buildings) in which some or all of the premises are the separate property of individuals, confirmed by an entry in the land and mortgage register.
A housing association consists of all the owners of premises (residential and commercial) in a given building. The concept of a housing association was introduced by the Law of June 24, 1994 on the ownership of premises. This Law uses and introduces a number of concepts, the understanding of which is necessary for the correct use of membership in the society when making decisions and participating in the management of common property.
