Bagno Street (Ulica Bagno)

Bagno Street is located in the very center of Warsaw, next to the Świętokrzyska metro station and Grzybowskiego Square. In the immediate vicinity we can find Park Saski and Halę Mirowską (two twin trading halls located in Warsaw Mirow at Mirowski Square, 1 (western hall) and Zhelazne Brama Square, 1 (eastern hall). The Old Town (stare Miasto) is located in 10 minutes walk.There are also many restaurants, atmospheric cafes and commercial and service premises nearby, as well as the Palace of Culture and Science (Pałac Kultury i Nauki), the Bolshoi Theater - the National Opera - the Wielki Theater (Teatr Wielki - Opera Narodowa).

Ulica Bagno - a street in Srodmieście (Śródmieście Północne) stretches from placu Grzybowskiego and ul. Raoula Wallenberga in the west to ul. Zielnej in the east. The street starts from the exit to placu Grzybowskiego, being a continuation of the southern part of the square and, after about 250 meters, ends at ul. Zielnej. Ulica Bagno arose during the period of rapid development of this part of Warsaw, that is, around the 17th century. Currently, there are only 4 buildings in Bagno: the Atelier Residence office building and three fifteen-story residential skyscrapers built in the 1960s at numbers 3, 5 and 7. As well as the first Warsaw skyscraper, erected in 1906–1908 at ul. Zielna 39. It is called PAST (from the first letters of the name of the second owner) or in translation PAST. The building resembles a medieval castle tower, with contemporary Art Nouveau interiors. Its height from the base of the foundation to the top was 51.5 m. The tower had eight floors. At that time it was the tallest residential building in Europe and one of the first reinforced concrete structures of this type in Europe.
