The Karmelitów Bosych tenement is a two-story building built between 1770 and 1771, designed by Efraim Szreger. In 1884 (according to some sources, after the January Uprising), the building was extended with three-story annexes creating two internal courtyards. The entire complex is preserved in its authentic state and was not significantly damaged during World War II. In 1998, the main building along with the annexes, courtyards, and fixed facilities was listed as a historical monument.
